Older People's Strategy Public Consultation Event

A public consultation on the Older People's Strategy will take place on Wednesday 16th September 2009 at North Berwick Sports Centre.
There will be 4 sessions at 11.00 am, 1.00 pm, 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
The format will be a 10 minute presentation by Gerry Power of the NHS CHP and Gordon Miller of East Lothian Council on the main themes of the strategy followed by a short opportunity to ask questions about the presentation.
People in attendance at these sessions will then have the chance to break into smaller discussion groups to talk about the main areas of the strategy. These groups are:
Response and Rehabilitation
Care Homes
Day Services
Support for Carers and Respite Care
Housing and Housing Support
Dementia and Mental Health
There will be two people facilitating each group - one to lead the discussion and the other to record points made. You can drop into as many of these groups as you want over a 90 minute period.
